A Hardbound Book

This book I did when I took a class in making hardbound books. It's a good feeling to be able to create a lovely book like this.

I used a handmade paper with bits of flowers in it for the cover.

I enjoyed learning how to sew the signatures together and mount them inside the cover, how to file the pages edges to create a nice clean edge, how to create the dip and bend at the spine so the covers open nicely.

The only trouble is, it's too nice a book to write anything in!
