A Double-Cover Book
For this book I did a double cover with two differnt kinds of heavier stock paper.
The inside cover in the darker blue color was made slightly larger than the lighter outer cover to give the appearance of a border.
I cut out a mullioned window shape in the outer cover and glued a picture of a rose onto the inner cover so that it showed through the window cutouts.
The inside of the book is a single signature, but note the interesting single concertina fold in the covers at the spine edge. Three beads are sewn into that section to add some depth and interest to the spine area.
