This was part of the 2009 Christmas Village. As you can see, it has kind of taken over our family room, but we thoroughly enjoy it and don't mind in the least.

There's just something special about sitting back with a cup of hot chocolate (with whipped cream on top!) watching and listening to the trains running and looking at the way the lights inside the buildings make them glow.

Add some background Christmas music, and you'd have to be a die-hard grinch not to enjoy it.
