I like to think of this section of the village as the Old Town.

Here you find some of the stately old mansions. They, of course, are all dressed up in their elegant Christmas best.

Children are playing in their yards. Mothers are coming home with more Christmas shopping, hoping to sneak it into the house before inquisitive little eyes see them.

Delivery wagons are dropping off flower arrangements, milk, ice and assorted other Christmas necessities.
